Fillmore County Public Health is seeking local partnerships with organizations who wish to support employees and patrons with their breastfeeding goals as part of the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP). Here is a little more information about SHIP.
We currently have funding to support these efforts. As needed, please check with your organization or corporation to gain support prior to your application. The application is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FCSHIPBFPartnerApplication2024 or by using the QR code. Applicants are encouraged to complete all sections of the application and submit it by 4 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024. Award recipients will be notified by April 4, 2024. If selected as an award participant, your award contact will be Jessica Holst at jholst@co.fillmore.mn.us or 507-765-2652. If selected as a partner award recipient, Fillmore County Public Health will set up a written agreement with your organization and provide technical assistance and resources to help you be successful. Partnering organizations can also receive support with applying for Breastfeeding Friendly Recognition through the Minnesota Department of Health.
