1. Where can I get an application for employment with Fillmore County?
Fillmore County has a “fillable” employment application that you can complete, sign and return to the Coordinator's Office. You can also call 507.765.4566 for an application to be mailed to you or visit the Coordinator’s Department in the courthouse between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, to complete an application in person. 2. Where can I find a list of available positions?
All vacant positions are posted in the Coordinator’s Department. Visit the Employment link for the current listing of all open positions. Fillmore County also advertises position openings in the official newspaper - Bluff Country Reader.
3. How is my application processed, and when will I be notified about the job?
After the application deadline, applications are screened and interviews scheduled. Applicants chosen for an interview will be notified by the hiring committee. Depending on the position, applicants may also be asked for further background information. Hiring decisions are made by the Fillmore County Board of Commissioners. The Human Resources staff contacts the selected applicant and completes the hiring process. Applicants not interviewed or chosen for hire are notified by the Department of Human Resources when the position is filled.
