Auctioneer License

To obtain an Auctioneer License an application must be completed as well as you signature notarized. You must also complete a Certificate of Compliance and accompany those documents with a current Bond Certificate. For an application click here.

If you are not a resident of of the State of Minnesota you must also complete an Irrevocable Consent to Service of Process form available by clicking here.

The fee for this license is $20.00 made payable to Fillmore County Auditor/Treasurer by check, money order or cash. This can either be mailed to our office or brought in person to:

Gambling Permit

To Obtain an Exempt Gambling Permit you must complete the following application. If the premises is within a City limit you must take it to the City Council/Board for approval. If the Gambling Premises is outside city limits, but within Fillmore County, you must complete the application and submit it to the Fillmore County Auditor/Treasuer's Office. The application will then be added to the next upcoming Commissioner Board Meeting Agenda for approval. Once approved you may pick up the approved application or we can mail it to you. At that point it is your responsibility to send the original application along with proof of your non-profit status and a check or money order made payable to the "State of Minnesota" for the correct fee listed on the application and mailed to:

Liquor License

Liquor Licensing and Permits

Fillmore County processes temporary 1-4 day liquor licenses as well as Comsumption and Display permits for entities where sales are located outside a city limit, however within the geographical boundaries of Fillmore County. If it is being sold within a city limit, it needs to be submitted to the City for approval.

NEW ENTITY:

Application for On-sale Intoxicating Liquor License, or Consumption and Display permits are accepted at the Auditor/Treasurer's Office. Fees are due at the time of application and are required on renewal date of each calendar year. To determine what your fees will be, please contact us directly as they are subject to change. There is a separate fee payable to The MN Liquor Control for your "Buyer Card" which must be included with your application for first time registrants.

Please complete the forms. Sign your first, middle and last name as President or Manager. Also, have the Township Clerk or Chairperson, County Attorney, and County Sheriff sign before returning it to
our office and include a copy of your liquor liability insurance policy.

Once you have returned your forms for submission, they will be added to the County Board Agenda for approval. Once approved, I will submit the approval along with the fee for the Buyer Card to the MN Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division.

Tobacco License

Tobacco License

Tobacco licenses are renewed on September 30th of each year. The fee for this license is $125.00 and will be prorated for new entities if they are applying at a different time. You will need to send a completed CT102 Tobacco license application along with the fees to the Fillmore County Auditor/Treasurer's Office. Once the license has been approved by the County Board, the approved license will be sent to you. Fireworks

Fireworks Display Permit

Applications must be completed and returned at least 15 days prior to the date of the display. You will need to submit a completed application accompanied by proof of bond or certificate of insurance as well as a diagram of the ground or facilities at which the display will be held. You will also need to provide documentation and/or a receipt of purchase of the fireworks and an itemized listing of the displays.

The fee is $20.00 and can be made payable by check/money order/cash to Fillmore County.

Precious Metals

Precious Metal License

In order to be compliant with the County ordinance, you will need to send $50.00 to the Fillmore County Auditor's office, along with the
completed Fillmore County Precious Metal License Application, Form SP:C1 and completed Certification of Compliance on MN Workers' Compensation Law. After the approval of the County Board, the license will be sent out to you.
